Course objectives
The main aim of the course is for the student to gain experience in the pedagogical and organizational activities of the department. These activities are primarily pedagogical activities, supervising and opposing qualification theses, organizing workshops, conferences and exhibitions, and also editorial and proofreading work on publications being prepared for print. The scope of activities is subject to the approval of the supervisor.
Learning outcomes
In the framework of the selected activity, upon completion of the course, the student: - will be able to independently prepare a course of tuition (especially a selective seminar thematically based on his/her doctoral dissertation); - will have demonstrated the ability to independently give lectures to students, especially on bachelor’s programmes; - will have gained experience of supervising, consulting on and opposing a bachelor’s thesis; - will be able to lead and organize workshops and conferences; - will have gained experience in preparing exhibitions; - will have gained experience of editorial and proofreading work in the preparation of publications.
Syllabus
  • The doctoral student will be actively involved in selected activities within the department.

  • Literature will be set according to the focus of the task.
Teaching methods
Independent theoretical preparation, teaching, and consultations.
Assessment methods
Credit is awarded on the basis of the student fulfilling a specified activity by the academic staff member responsible for the selected activity or the supervisor.
