Course objectives
The aim of the course is to show students the importance of the knowledge of Spanish grammar for teaching Spanish as foreign language. In addition to presenting various activities that manage to combine the pedagogical approach with the theoretical introduction to morphology, attention also will be paid to some terminological and conceptual discrepancies in Spanish syntax (as well as in the corresponding manuals) that, depending on chosen teaching materials, can make it unnecessarily difficult to explain some grammatical phenomena.
Learning outcomes
Students will learn useful teaching activities related to especially difficult topics of Spanish grammar and will be aware of the existence of some terminological and conceptual discrepancies important for selecting teaching materials for the SFL class.
