Course objectives
The course is focused on the limitation of lexicological level in the system of language levels, problematics of word as language sign, its arbitraty ability and motivation with concentration on the word forming, question of different acces to lexical semantics, paradigmatical relations at vocabulary, differentiation of vocabulary from the various points of view, synchronical dynamics of Slovak vocabulary and basic questions of lexicography. The part of course is a comparative point of view of the Slovak and Czech vocabularies and their reciprocal historical and also contemporary relations.
