- Course objectives
- The course goal is to master business and economic vocabulary of Vietnamese language in both spoken and written communication and further to give lectures about selected conditions and rules of business activities in Vietnam as well as rules of personal relations and etiquette in business contacts.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course a student: - is able to use Vietnamese business and economic vocabulary in both spoken and written communication - is able to use the knowledge of special rules of personal relations and business communication
- Syllabus
- Explanations and training in the use of vocabulary related to following topics: 1. business companies and their inner structure. 2. Personal contact and negotiation. 3. Accounting. 4. Statistics. 5. Purchase. 6. Sale. 7. Export and import. 8. Transportation. 9. Prices, currencies, banking and financial transactions. 10. Market and macroeconomic data. 11. Institutions related to registration, controls and regulations in Czech Republic and Vietnam. 12. Multinational banks and economic institutions.

- Assessment methods
- Students of the study programme Vietnamese Studies: 1) in the two thirds of the course: written test - at least 50 % of correct answers is needed to pass for final written examination; + 2) final written examination: at least 70 % of correct answers is required to pass the course. Students of other study programmes: only final written examination is compulsory: at least 50 % of correct answers is needed to pass the course.
