- Course objectives
- The course will be based mainly on Libuše Dušková's Mluvnice současné angličtiny na pozadí češtiny (1988) with emphasis laid on those elements of grammar (articles, countability, punctuation, verb tenses, modal verbs, semi-clausal structures, etc.) that may seem difficult to the Czech student. The course will be rather practical than theoretical, and may be considered to be a supplement to the Practical English course.
