Course objectives
Theatre symbolism I. The lecture is outlined as contribution towards history of world theatre. The lecture attempts to define the crucial stages in the development of theatre by interpretation of particular breakthrough-staging applying symbolism as means of the artistic message. Particular attention will be paid to stage design.
