Course objectives
The aim of the lecture is to provide the theoretical background necessary for the compulsory seminars (Part One, Part Two). The lecture is focused on Czech phonology and morphology from the end of the Proto-Slavonic period to the present day.
Syllabus
  • 1) Development of the Czech phonological system from 10th to the end of the 16th century. 2. Morphology. 2.1 Declension (nouns, pronouns, compound declension in the one thousand years of development). 2.2 Conjugation (Old Czech conjugation types; athematic verbs; individual verbal forms in the one thousand years of development).

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Požadavky ke kolokviu: kolokvium proběhne formou rozpravy o některém z jazykových jevů probraných v přednášce. Konkrétní téma si studenti mohou zvolit samostatně, a to na základě zápisků z přednášek a učebnice Lamprecht-Šlosar-Bauer, Historická mluvnice češtiny, 1986 (oddíly Hláskosloví, Tvarosloví).
