Course objectives
The course pays particular attention to the specialized language of economics and law, seen as the basis of successful and effective communication. The course focuses on practising the ability to understand a specialized text and to concentrate on its main ideas (as well as translating it into the mother tongue with the use of a dictionary), conversations in business situations and mastering the basic types and translation of business correspondence pays particular attention to the specialized language of economics seen as a basis of successful and effective communication. The course has a form of a lecture and a class discussion. Written test, oral colloquium.
