- Course objectives
- The course introduces students to basic aesthetic concepts and teaches the students how to use the terms for analyses of literary texts.
- Syllabus
- The course will deal with the concept of the aesthetic distance (Bullough), beauty (Ortega y Gasset), the esthetic norm (Mukařovský), and the art (Goodman). Consequently these concepts will be applied to the field of literature.
