- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to introduce the key ideas of theory of a novel and also introduce poetics of important novels of contemporary age(Roth, Coetzee, Murakami, McCarthy). At the end of the course students should be able to:
identificate selected issues of theory of novel and compare these conceptions,
describe main features of poetics by Coetzee, Roth, McCarthy and Murakami,
broaden horizonts about works of world literature. - Syllabus
