Course objectives
The course is primary designed for beginners in the field of general lingusitics, it shows basic methods of linguistics and considers adequasy of this methods in the different language plans study.
Syllabus
  • 1) Science and sciences of language 2) Scientific laws. How do they exist in language? 3) Model and explanation, deduction and induction. Empirical and priori. 4) Hjelmslev' empirical principle 5) Language signs 6) Levels of language description
