Course objectives
The course means further development in communicative abilities in Ukrainian and strengthening conversational habits and abilities necessary for adequate everyday communication as well as for communication about general cultural topics.

  • 1. Towns of the Ukraine
  • 2. Kiev (old and modern)
  • 3. History of the Ukraine (Kievan Rus')
  • 4. Origins (country and settlement of Ukrainians)

Completion: written test, oral colloquium.
Requirements for completion: active attendance (maximum of three missed lessons), homework, 1 paper, paraphrase of 100 pages of ukrainian text.
