- Course objectives
- The course Personal and Social Development leads students to self-reflection and self-understanding, develops communicative skills and provokes creativity and cooperative skills. Based on reflection of the work during seminar shows the possibilities to use techniques of personal and social development in the work with pupils-clients. At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain principles of personal and social development; develop lessons of personal and social development; work as a lecturer in the field.

- Theoretical background of personal and social development. Constructivist and humanist theories as framework of personal and social development.
- Objectives and methods of personal and social development, game as main method. Development of key competencies in personal and social development. Reflection as tool of personal and social development.
- Topics of personal and social development. Self-cognition, communication, cooperation and other topics of personal and social development.
- Personal and social development as a part of curriculum.
- Personality, relationships and groups in personal and social development.
- Teacher as lecturer of personal and social development, principles of lecturers work.
- Examination of risk and adequacy of personal and social development activities.
