Course objectives
First meeting with Serbian language, basic lexical items, basic grammar rules. At the end of the course students should be able to understand the basic of Serbian language.
Syllabus
  • Texts: Aerodrom Beograd, Prvi dan u institutu, Ko je ovo? Šta je ovo? U hotelu, U gradu, Porodica Popović, Koliko je sati, Nova drugarica, Dobro veče, Subota, Dolaze gosti, Raspored časova, Koncert, Posle koncerta, Imam jednu malu želju, Idemo u Smederevo, Roditelji Nikole Popovića, Volite li da putujete? Kako? S kim?, Pauza, Jedno prijatno veče, Marko je stigao iz Italije, Kod Silvije i Marka, Šta se desilo Milošu?, Kome pišeš?, Novi stan, Kakav je?, Šta voli? Teaching methods
Serbian: Seminars, 1½ hours per week, plus half an hour tutorials to be arranged individually with students.
Assessment methods
The course has a form of a class discussion. Conditions for credits: active participation in the lessons(which is allowed a maximum of 3 absences)15%, all homework 25%, successfully written test 60%.
