Course objectives
Course is focused on the survey of the Czech and Moravian painting of the 17th century, at the end of the course student will be able to understand the evolution of the painting of the 17th century from the renaissance tradition to the development of baroque art, to work with information on the important personalities of the 17th century painting and to explain the basic stylistic and contextual questions of the 17th century painting in Bohemia and Moravia.
