This course is aimed at students that have passed the final exam "Language acquisition" in the first year. This course is only for bachelor students.

Course objectives
Goal of this course is to extend the student's vocabulary by means of conversation and speaking exercises. These are based on a corpus of the 2000 most frequent words in Dutch, supplemented by three chapters from the book "Thematische woordenschat" (Thematical vocabulary).

Weekly assignments, conversation- and speaking exercises during class. Two absenced max.
Assessment methods
Preparation of weekly assigments and active participation during the classes is required. The course is concluded by a vocabulary test.
