- Course objectives
- The course is a continuance of the ‘Japanese Writing in Praxis: Reading Japanese Texts I.’ course from the previous semester. The aim of the course is a complex employment and combination of the students’ curricullum from Japanese language and Japanese writing classes. By means of original Japanese texts adjusted to the students’ language abilities level they will hence have a possibility to learn the characters in context and as such to adopt natural Japanese expressions and vocabulary.

- Units from Basic Kanji Book, revision of characters from the previous semesters Texts from Nihongo Shokyú, articles from Hiragana Times, Nihongo jánaru & Cat. Set parts of Intermediate Japanese. Nihon no mukashi banashi.

- Teaching methods
- Reading of Japanese texts, interpretation of textual macrostructures, practice of interpretation and translation techniques based on previous knowledge of the Japanese language.
- Assessment methods
- Drills. Final examination in the form of a written test will check the students’ knowledge of the semester’s curricullum. A test evaluated above 70 % will be considered successfully passed. Attendance of at least 70 % is required.
