- Course objectives
- The course provides students with a survey of various methodological approaches which can be used to elaborate on the topic of Doctoral Dissertation. The stress is laid on the method suitable for a particular student (or students). In further course of his studies, students get acquainted with a chosen method in depth under supervision of their supervisors.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students will:
- introduce various methodological approaches to elaboration of given issues
- justify a choice of method they are going to use
- enumerate and explain fundamental principles of the chosen method
- be well informed about main representatives and recommended literature for further studies - Syllabus

- Explanation of fundamental principles of the method chosen for elaboration of Doctoral Dissertation.

- Teaching methods
- The course is taught according to agreement between a student and a supervisor. For example: individual consultations, seminars of a group of PhD students. A part of teaching is a discussion about particular methods (their advantages and disadvantages, suitability for various topics, etc.)
