Course objectives
Requirements for the Master's degree are determined by the study regulations of the FF MU. The Department of Music Science is required to study the subject.
Learning outcomes
The student will demonstrate the ability to write professional musicological work at the prescribed level.
Syllabus
  • The "magistr" level of study is concluded with the diploma work, the extent of which is set by the study rules of the Faculty of Arts MU. The student chooses his/her topic after a consultation with a lecturer (or a lecturer sets the topic himself) within one of the seminars. The student refers about his/her work in the diploma seminar. The work should have an extent and character of a medium scientific monograph with notes, bibliography, documentation, indexes etc. The diploma work is expected to enrich the discipline with a relevant view of a new problem within the discipline or in the interdisciplinary context.
