Course objectives
The course is taught in Modern Greek. The main aim of the course is to introduce Modern Greek stylistics to students and further practice and develop students’ writing, CEFR C1.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able:
- to write well-structured and grammatically correct texts;
- to express complex ideas with simplicity, explicitness and directness;
- write texts which are clearly expressed, to advocate od reject an opinion.

  • Greek orthography.
  • Theoretical introduction to Modern Greek stylistics.
  • Reading and analysis of exemplary texts.
  • Essay writing – analysis in class and evaluation.
