- The final state examination of the bachelor's study program may be accepted by a student who:
- earned credits from all (compulsory and optional) courses;
- submitted a bachelor's thesis and received a supervisor's opinion and an opponent's report - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The state final exam is designed to demonstrate the student's ability to:
- to deal with the given professional issues;
-reaction in discussion and substantive argument;
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the professional resources of their use in professional controversy;
- have knowledge of factual knowledge of basic methodologies in the field of LIS;
- critically work with professional literature;
- have the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge of the branch in the field of practice.
The aim of the final Master's examination is to examine the comprehensive knowledge and relevant insight into the field of Information and Library Studies, including the transdisciplinary context. - Learning outcomes
- After completing the state final exam, the student has a comprehensive knowledge and relevant insight into the field of Information and Library Studies, including the transdisciplinary context.
The graduate is able to:
- to deal with the given professional issues;
- to respond to expert discussion and substantiate arguments;
- to prove the knowledge of professional resources and their application in the field of expertise;
- demonstrate knowledge of factual knowledge of basic methodologies in the field of LIS;
- critically work with professional literature;
- Apply the theoretical knowledge of LIS in the field of practice. - Syllabus
- The state final exam is oral and consists of the defense of the bachelor thesis before the commission and the oral examination of the LIS thematic areas before the commission. Both parts are accessed by the student in the same trial period and in one day. The exam begins with a defense of the bachelor's thesis before the commission, then the oral exam in front of the commission follows on the same day.
- The terms of state final examinations are announced by the head of the institute and published on the official notice board so that candidates can sign up.

Oral thematic examination in the field of LIS before the commission - Assessment methods
- The state final examination is held in both parts of the committee, which has at least three members. Each part of the exam - defense of work and oral examination from LIS thematic areas is assessed separately. The final evaluation of the final state examination takes the form of one common mark, on which the commission has decided.
