Course objectives
The aim of the course is to achieve the ability of the doctoral student to popularize the results of his scientific work, knowledge of the area of his study and to bring this issue closer to the lay public through publications in a popular science journal or a lecture for the general public.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the doctoral student will be able to present in an accessible form (in the form of an article or lecture) the results of their scientific work and knowledge of their field of interest and its problems to the general public, whether academic or non-academic.
Syllabus
  • The course is enrolled in agreement with the tutor. The doctoral student consults his / her work and publication or lecture output and its form. It should be at least two activities, ideally one popularizing article and one lecture.

  • Literatura je zadána individuálně školitelem podle náplně činnosti.
Teaching methods
Preparation of a text or presentation of a lecture based on consultations with the tutor.
Assessment methods
Credit is awarded by the supervisor after the publication of the article or the presentation of a popularization lecture after the introduction into the information system.
