Course objectives
The aim of the course is to consolidate knowledge and skills related to the C1 level of the language, both in writing and speaking. At the same time, the vocabulary will be implemented according to the communicative contexts addressed in class.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to -express personal opinions and support their own ideas using appropriate vocabulary; -narrate past facts by correctly ranging between the past tenses of the Indicative mood; -express hypotheses; -report what others have said in indirect speech; -understand and use neologisms, use idiomatic forms to intensify adjectives; -speak about one's own relationship with language learning.
Syllabus
  • Specifically, the following topics will be explored: -conjunctive to express an opinion; -the past tenses of the indicative in narrative perspective; -linguistic and stylistic variants of the hypothetical period; - the passive form; - the present and past gerund; -the indirect discourse; -pronominal verbs.

Teaching methods
Lessons are of a practical nature: participation in class activities - pair work, group work, audio and video activities, presentations - is required. Work to be completed at home will be regularly offered. Attendance is compulsory (75%, maximum 3 absences).
Assessment methods
The final examination consists of a written and an oral tests. The oral test is accessed once the written paper has been passed.
