Course objectives
The aim of the course is to gain experience in the co-organization of a Polish cultural event.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to actively cooperate in the organization of cultural events in the field of Polish culture:
- perform in literary reading in public;
- help with pre-event promotion and online post-production;
- take care of foreign guests, or translate them;
- subtitle the movie in the Subtitle Edit program;
selected students will learn how to apply for financial support for a cultural event.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the schedule of cultural event and division of work tasks.
  • Checking the performed tasks before the cultural event.
  • The Festival Brno reads Bruno.
  • Final reflection.

Teaching methods
Independent work on assigned tasks, active teamwork, assistance in organizing the festival.
Assessment methods
Teaching takes place in block form: 2 organizational meetings in advance, the festival Brno reads Bruno, a post-festival meeting. The condition for granting the credit is attendance and fulfillment of assigned tasks.
