This course is designed primarily for majors in their second year and for those taking two semesters of Latin by the direct method. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to develop language skills in the area of spontaneous spoken speech in Latin. At the same time, it should serve to consolidate and deepen the previously acquired knowledge of Latin grammar.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Conduct simple conversations in Latin on common topics of everyday life;
- Use basic grammatical structures in spoken speech spontaneously and correctly;
- Respond in Latin to instructions and questions in class and actively engage in spoken interaction;
- Reflect on their progress and work intentionally to improve their language skills through feedback. - Syllabus
- 1. Greetings, introductions, basic communication phrases
- 2.-4. Description of daily activities (daily routine, study, work)
- 5.-7. Leisure activities, interests, travel, literature
- 8.-9. Family, friends, interpersonal relationships
- 10.-12. Weather, seasons, time
