Course objectives
the course concentrates on to the most significant period of Czech theory of theatre of 20. century and presents the theoretical approches of the most distingushed personalities as Zich, Bogatyriev, Mukařovsky, Honzl, Veltruský, Procházka, Osolsobě, Deák.

  • Prague School Structuralism, theory of drama text, semiotics of theatrical acting, semiotics of stage design
