Course objectives
The aim of the lecture is to demonstrate on relevant material the significance of toponomastics for linguitics and diachronic discipliones.
Syllabus
  • The introductory part is focused on basic issues of onomastics and toponomastics within its range. The individual topics are the subject and basic terminology of the discipline, classification of place names, sources, development of Czech toponomastics and significance of the discipline.
