Course objectives
The seminar is concentrated on developing the student's literary and literary-critical skills. An analysis of the extracts of prosaic compositions of Czech and word authors, with accent on questions and problems related with structure of the prosaic text, will bring us to creation of student's own compositions (tasks associated with difficulties when writing a literary text). Composed texts will be used like a basis for a discussion. The course will help students not only to develope their language and creative competence, but also to understand the internal order of the prose, to comprehend more profoundly literary texts and as a result to have better literary- critical competence.
