Course objectives
The lecture on dance as one of the significant expressions of the culture of man; it includes the themes on the foundation of dance from the points of view of culture, anthropology, art, and history; it presents the process of the formation of various theories of dance research and themes which grow from them in light of the relationship of ethno choreology and science; here it reflects especially the transformation of the subject of the studies, which has developed from the description of traditional folk dances in rural environment to the contemporary research of dance folklorism, dance activities, and the vitality of dance in general.
