Course objectives
The goal of the course is to make acquainted with the basic questions of women's and feminist movement. The conception of emancipation, gender, discrimination, including the issue of home violence and its consequences for the woman and the child. The stress is on the role of education in women's movement Further, the course aims at the standing of the women in society, especially with reference to contemporary dealing with these topics. The part of the course is also the subject and specification of the conception of gender with respect to the gender roles in education, subject matter of the gender at school in relation to textbooks , the approach of teachers to girls and boys and the gender approach to the choice of the occupation .
