Course objectives

The course is concerned with the practical application of the Greek grammar in reading of the Greek text - the Gospel according to Luke. In the course of translating, the students will be instructed about the grammar not covered in the previous courses. The main aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the real Greek text, to teach them how to handle it and use dictionary and to expose them to the full system of the Greek grammar.

Syllabus

• The reading of the Gospel according to Luke. Covering of these grammatical features - optatives and subjunctive, perfect stem, temporal and final clauses.
