Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to provide students with basic concepts for interpretations of literary works. Lectures on theory will be supplemented by practical exercise: extracts from Czech literature and Ancient and Modern Greek literature in Czech translation. Students will become familiar with basic literary science terminology and principles of literary study and they will be able to apply them independently.
