Abstract
The seminar will introduce works of eminent figures of the Czech theatre criticism in biographical and social contexts as well as in connection with thinking on (theatre) criticism at particular period. At the end of the course, students will understand how the Czech theatre criticism has been evolving and wil be encouraged to make their own views on discussed reviews and essays and theoretical texts on the criticism.
