- Abstract
- Seminars will be primarily aimed at analyses and interpretations outstanding works of literary canon of the second half of the 20th century. Texts will be examined on the basis of both synchronic and diachronic approach. An attention will be also paid to general social-historic context, literary-critical reception and issues of literary genres. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand literary text; to interpret literary works in historical context; students will be able to think about literature critically. A part of this course is devoted to works from the list of required reading
- Key topics
- Seminars of each group will be realised once per two weeks. Each seminar will focus on interpretations of one author and his selected work. Students will prepare for seminars the reflection of chosen literary piece and send it by e-mail to the teacher one day before the seminar. Option A (Mgr. Zdeněk Ježek) 1. Václav Hrabě - Horečka 2.
