This course is primarily for students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Studies. Previous knowledge from secondary school is required. The aim of the course is to achieve a B2 level (based on CEFR). For capacity reasons, priority will be given to students coming from the CJVS1B course.

Course objectives
The course is focused on academic skills and professional language. During the course all language skills will be practised (listening, reading comprehension, oral and written presentations). Other material is used - authentic recordings and texts, excercises. See Literature. Internet is also often used to supplement the teaching materials.
The aim of the course is to achieve a B2 level (based on CEFR) and to become acquainted with academic and specific language.

Lectures, reading, listening, presentations, discussion, writing, homework, etc.
Assessment methods
Course completion requirements: 1. in-class presentation on an academic/specific topic 2. text summary on an academic/specific topic 3. written test (B2 level according to CEFR). Active class participation is obligatory (70% attendance).

The course is taught each semester.
General note: Výstupní úroveň B2 podle ERR.Tento kurz je určen studentům, kteří chtějí absolvovat zkoušku z jazyka po jednom semestru výuky. Kurz je zakončen zkouškou písemnou (test) a ústní (prezentace).
Information on course enrolment limitations: Podmínkou pro zápis do kurzu je znalost španělštiny na středoškolské úrovni nebo adekvátní znalost získaná na základě jiné formy studia. Přednost při zápisu mají studenti, kteří absolvovali předcházející kurz.
