Course objectives
The discipline makes a link to General Education and focuses studentsattention to selected theories related to education. Among them, academic, congitive-psychological, personalistic, social, socio-cognitive, sporitual and technological theories play the main role.
Aim of this discipline is to gain knowledge of educational theories, understanding of theories and ability to evaluate critically each educational theories.

  • 3. Psychocognitive theories (Piaget, Kohlberg, von Glasersfeld, Bruner)
  • 4. Social Cognitive theories (Vygotsky, Bandura)
  • 5. Social theories (Freire, Giroux, Shor, McLaren)
