Course objectives
For Indo-European studies both ancient and archaic modern languages are necessary (Sanskrit, Greek, Latin, Lithuanian, Russian), plus moderen west European languages (English, German, French), mediating the linguistic literature from West Europe and USA.

Teaching methods
Interpretation of authentic texts in ancient languages, besides new, especialy linguistically specialized texts in modern languages.

Ability to use the chosen language.
