Abstract
The aim of the course is to make students acquainted with the material conditions of sculpture, applied arts, print and photography.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student will be able to:
- identify and summarize important technological innovations of the major periods in the history of sculpture, applied arts, print and photography;
- identify and describe key artistic techniques;
- describe factors which affect work of art's condition and preservation;
- design and explain a suitable method of technological research, conservation and restoration.
