Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of androgogy, with the concept of cultural andragogy and the possibility of development of adults by using art and culture in education.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to:
define selected basic concepts and models of andragogy;
define the principles and rules of development of adult individuals;
understand the importance of culture and the arts for the development and cultivation of adult individuals and societies;
understand the laws, possibilities and limitations of the use of cultural and artistic elements in the context of adult education;
use the theoretical concepts and models for the design of an educational programs for adults.

Teaching methods
This is generally a distance course. Theory is provided by directed reading and self-study. Students are fulfilling several written assignments during the course. Explanation of real-life examples is delivered by separate on-line/contact lecture.

On-line test (min. 51%) and fulfillment of written assignments.
