Course objectives
The course develops competencies acquired primarily in the subject-oriented subject curriculum.
The subject has two main objectives:
- to familiarize students with the concepts of the reader from the earliest times to the present;
- to conduct student surveys on Readers and Readers in the Czech Republic (2007, 2010, 2013)
Learning outcomes
After completing the subject student: - has the knowledge and understanding of reader concepts from the earliest times to the present;
- knows and can analytically analyze reading and reading surveys in the Czech Republic (2007, 2010, 2013);
- is able to work with the knowledge in the applied level, is capable of verbal and written reflection of the problem

  • - 20th century: Constanz, Buffalo, Birmingram Schools;
  • (2) Surveys (2007, 2010, 2013, 2018):
  • - why to do it;
  • - how to do it - methodology;
  • - reading, buying, borrowing;
  • - what do we read?;
  • - fiction;
  • - reading and internet;
  • - reader socialization;
  • - comparisons;
