- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to further develop and improve techniques of teaching Japanese as a foreign language in its written form. The student is supposed to apply his/her theoretical knowledge to practice under the teacher's supervision. The aim is especially at teaching and evaluating short written texts and practice teaching kanji and its compounds in context.
- Learning outcomes
- After the course the student is able to:
Describe characteristics of kanji characters
Provide corrections in writing
Create a basic excercise of kanji structure
Create a basic excercise of kanji compounds
Evaluate a proficiency of a student based on a short written text in Japanese
Provide English explanation of basic chinese characters' etymology - Syllabus
