Course objectives
The course deal s with the common history of the Absolutism in West and Central Europe between years 1550-1789. The contents of the course is focused on the history of Franće, Holy Empire and Habsburg Monarchy. The special attention will be drawn to the role of culture and fine arts (the art of absolutism x the state of baroque), the role of the state theory, constitutional mentality and the process of establishing bureaucracy. During the course the texts and archive documents will be studied and interpreted.

1. Identify the Sémiotic and historiography od Ansolutusm
2. Identify the role and history of the most importent europian States in the Age of Absolutism
3. Identify the State Theory of the Absolutism
4. Identify the topics of the constitutional Systen in the Age of Absolutisme5. Identify the role of Iconography of the Monarch in the Age of Absolutism
6. Odentufy the role of Monarch in the Age of Absolutism
7. Identify the role of Fine Arts as the Presentation of Monarch in the Age of Absolutism
8. Identify the role of Fein Arts and Ceremony at Baroque Courts
