Abstract
This subject aims to work on the grammatical components of the B1 level of the CEFR. This means that we will address questions such as nominal morphology (common and proper nouns, gender, number, pronouns, adjectives), determiners (articles, demonstratives), quantifiers, verbal morphology, expression of time, place, instrument, prepositions, and conditionals.
Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

Identify and correctly use Catalan nominal categories (nouns, pronouns, and adjectives), properly applying gender and number agreement rules in both oral and written contexts.

Recognize and use different types of determiners and quantifiers (articles, demonstratives, indefinites, numerals, and quantifiers) according to the grammatical and pragmatic conventions of standard Catalan.

Correctly apply the forms and uses of Catalan verbal morphology corresponding to level B2, both in text production and comprehension.

Properly use temporal, locative, and instrumental expressions to structure and clarify information in oral and written discourse.

Select and correctly use the most common Catalan prepositions and prepositional phrases, avoiding interference from other languages.

Express hypothetical, conditional, or probable situations using the correct conditional, according to the communicative functions typical of the B2 level. Produce spoken and written texts that are grammatically coherent and suitable for the B2 level of the CEFR, functionally integrating the morphosyntactic resources studied.
