Abstract
The aim of the course is to provide basic laboratory skills (safety and fire rules, basic rules for safe chemical laboratory practice and basic biochemistry operations).
Learning outcomes
This course covers basic laboratory operations and the determination of physico-chemical constants of compounds. Students will learn safety and fire regulations, basic rules for safe chemical laboratory practice, basic laboratory operations and manipulation with chemical laboratory equipment and simple instruments.

Laboratory courses
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
The laboratory course runs every week. At the beginning of the course, each student is tested on their theoretical knowledge of the particular experiment through a short written test or questions.
