Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to current trends in the field of applied cartography. The course is enrolled by students whose dissertation focuses on issues of applied cartography, especially the area of national mapping projects and virtual geographic environments (VGE).
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Identify the main research trends in the subject area - Design and explain appropriate data processing methods - Apply the acquired knowledge in the dissertation
