- Functions of a one or more variables, basic properties. Limit of a function, continuity of functions. Derivation of a function of a single variable, basic properties. Elementary functions: polynomials, trigonometric functions, logarithms, exponential functions, general power functions, inverse trigonometric functions. Extrema of the functions. Partial derivatives of functions with more variables. Derivatives of higher orders. Indefinite integrals of elementary functions. basic methods for their calculation. Decomposition of a rational function to partial fractions, integrals form the partial fractions. Differetials of the functions of a single variable, total differentials of functions with more variables. The Taylor polynomial. AQpplications in numerical calculations. The definite integrals (the Riemann integrals), basic methods. Integrals with infinite limits. The physical applications of the Riemann integral. Elements of the algebra of vectors, the vector operations. The vector space. Scalar and vector product. Matrices, the rank of matrices, determinants, the methods of the calculation of determinants. Systems of linear algebraic equations.
