Syllabus
  • Introduction to study of geography, history of geography. Priciples of planetology, position of the Earth in Universe. Lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere. Introduction to study of geology. Geomorphology, morphography and morphometry, structural geomorphology, constancy and inversion of morphostructures, types of relief. Study of meteorology and climatology. Atmosphere as a part of climatic system. Basic meteorological elements. General atmospheric circulation. Hydrology, organization on hydrological service. Water reserves on the Earth. Hydrology of rivers. Pedogeography, soil classification. Biogeography, development of biogeosphere, ecological factors and conditions.
