Course objectives
The course is devoted to students of magisterial programme Geology, mainly to those who intend to graduate in the subjects Historical geology, Paleontology or Sedimentary geology. It follows the main goal to present on the advanced university level the questions connected with the rockforming activities of organisms.
Syllabus
  • Rockforming activity of organisms - active, passive & Rockforming plants (ecology and paleoecology, preconditions of the rockforming activity, main rock types in the geologic past, samples, thin sections)& Rockforming animals (ecology and paleoecology, preconditions of the rockforming activity, main rock types in the geologic past, samples, thin sections)
