Course objectives
Sudent will obtain basic information, which is necessary for orientation in the geographical education as well as in study of geography as a science. The greatest part is then devoted to presentation of selected astronomical, geodetical and geophysical knowledge which influence directly many geographical processes and phenomena in the Earth lanscape.

The course consists of lectures with the possibility of practicing theoretical knowledge using the e-learning tools and documents.
Assessment methods
Teaching takes the form of lectures and oral presentations. Ongoing and final examinations will be in the written form.
