Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to provide to students an overview of didactic facilities and tools, which can be used in secondary school education. It explains properties and principles of classical devices (e.g. of dataprojector), but it tries to reflect also the modern trends (digitalization, interactivity, mobility). Another goal is to let students try out personally the mentioned devices).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to give overview of technologies, which can be used in teaching at secondary schools. They will be able to use didactic devices in their own practice, they will acquire practical knowledge and skills. They will be aware of up-to-date didactic utensils available on the market.
Syllabus
  • 1. Presentations in LaTeX, class beamer (basics of LaTex, document structure of presentation in beamer and its animation, insertion of video, animations). 2. Projection technology (ahead projection, multimedia data projection, screens). 3. Video technology (sources of video signals, interfaces, wireless connection). 4. Interactive classroom (interactive whiteboard, audience responce). 5. Modern methods of measurement in science education. 6. Mobile devices in education

Assessment methods
Attendance of 80% and active work during teaching period (short contribution) is required to obtain the credit.
